Hi everybody!! Finally back from camp, but some how or rather, i think that family camp is just too short!!! Although many lessons have been taught, but wouldn't it be nicer to know more on how to get that 'Such Great Faith' that we need in the Lord.

Through this camp, there where many challenging messages that really got me thinking. Questions like, 'Do i really have faith in god?' or ' Do i put any faith in the Lord in any of my plannings?' Through this camp, i have learnt that we must not assume we have that faith but constantly thinking on whether our faith is still there. I got to know the scriptures really well and to exercise in our faith to get that Great Faith that God wants to see and will be pleased with. "Our Faith can grow from a small little mustard seed to a big tree through the growing of our Faith" This phrase have been stuck in my mind ever since camp has ended.

Camp has come and gone, lessons have been taught and learnt, i really hope that i will be able to apply what i have learnt during the whole week of Camp in my daily life. To be able to to exercise my faith everyday and to say that ' The lord God is truly real in my life!!'

I had to give a testimony on the last day of camp. I wrote a 'ok' testimony i guess, but because of the nerves that eventually got the best out of me, I didn't really say what i want to say, so here is my the testimony which i intended to read...

Hi everyone! For those who do not know me, I'm sherlyn. I was very excited when i heard that Family Camp is finally here as this is my first time attending the camp. I was looking forward to all the programmes and activities which have been planned whole-heartedly by the Camp Committee, and of course not missing the many meaningful and soul searching messages given by Pastor Charles concerning 'Such Great Faith'. Then, camp was a must for me as i didn't know where my faith really is or whether i even have that faith to begin with.

The messages that struck me the most was regarding the many causes like drifting away and neglecting their faith is a person do not have faith in God. In the past, i faced a problem of drifting away when i left Bethany when i was in Secondary 1. Thankfully, the Lord has brought me back to Bethany once again to study the Lord's words, and this time, he even brought my dad and my Aunt to Bethany the know who God is and to also know God's word. Through this camp, Pastor told us that even a small little mustard seed will be able to grow into a big tree through the growing of our faith. Camp has come and gone, lessons have been taught and learnt, I hope that i will be able to apply all that i have learnt during this camp in my daily life and that my faith can grow into the big tree one day.

I'm really thankful that Bethany has many great pastors to teach and explain about the scriptures and lessons from the bible. I want to say a special thank you to Pastor Mitch who have been there for me and the rest of the people in my batch during one of our most important examination. Thank you!
