4 DAY WITHOUT AIR-CON!!!

I cannot believe I went without air-con for 4 whole days! Well actually it is possible here in Shen Zhen. Like what I've said before, Shen Zhen is freakishly cold! I get cold rashes from the icy temperature!

Missed the pre-youth conference lesson today! Sad but I know for sure that youth conference itself will be REALLY GOOD!!

Things which I can't wait for it to happen...
1) Youth Conference - 9Th Dec to 14Th Dec
2) Post Red Camp outing - if there is, I hope there is! Miss is a lot, and I'm still am!!
3)Christmas Concert - 22ND Dec and 23rd Dec, choose one ( please come if you can make it! RED CAMPERS!!!)
4) Christmas lunch at Shang - 25Th Dec
5)Batch outing cum sleepover!! - I have no idea when it will be but I will make sure that it happens
6) Christmas gathering in church - 19Th Dec if I'm not wrong ( Again, those who can come please come!)

8) Pot luck with some close friends - 7Th Dec, tentatively

(Matt, is you are reading this, say thank you! HAHA!! But I really have to say that your entries are really good)

Good bye Singapore, Hello Shen Zhen!

Finally! I get to sit a plane! I was like, 'I'm gonna sit the aeroplane, I'm gonna sit the aeroplane!' I know it sounds super childish but YEAH!! As the plane went higher and higher, the buildings which are once a thousand times bigger, became the size of a showroom model! Now that my dad brought the laptop along, I post every single day, about all we have done before I forget.
For example, we landed at Shen Zhen 2 hours ago and boy it is freezing cold I tell you adn it still is! The strong and cold wind is coming from all directions and I am stupid enough not to listen to my parents and wore shorts!
We then went to the near by store to have some hot stuff to eat. In totally we spent like S$9 for 6 dishes of food and 4 bowls of soup! Super cheap right! I know!
Did I mention about the freakishly cold weather here! It is like what, 13 degrees now as I type and heard that it would be colder tomorrow! The people living here can cut down a lot on electricity bills man! They don't need air-con, just open the window and it will feel like you are in Greenland! It is that cold! Can't say much now, waking up at 6 to have breakfast at Hong Kong and spend the day at Hong Kong Disney Land. I will let the pictures do the talking.

I always thought that every thing in budget airline is cheaper than what is sold in terminal 1 and 2...but NO!!! The stuff is either the same price or even more expensive! A bottle of mineral water sold on the plane cos 3 bucks! And it is not cold! What a rip off! Budget airline just contradicts themselves sad to say.

What's wrong with Friendster!! They are getting crappier by the day!! Here I was wanting to upload some pictures from red camp and then this icon popped out ' you cannot upload pictures over 2MB' (some thing like that). I was like 'huh?' I think my camera is too good that the pictures taken shows to much details that it takes up a bigger size! Then to think of it, wouldn't the professionals be always unable to upload their pictures into friendster? What a crappy system! Please upgrade friendster for better purposes!

AND.....

I will be flying off to Hong Kong tomorrow!! YEAH!! This is like my 1st holiday trip after like 2 years I guess. I miss the filling if riding aeroplanes!! Can't wait!!

This stupid long blog took me so long to edit!! Any how....

It was a whole lot of fun at Ngee Ann Polytechnic! The people there were great, the performances there were great, the courses there are great! Every thing was great at Ngee Ann Poly! I am so going there!

The camp started with Ngee Ann's 'Barracuda Batucadas' where at least 10 of them played the drums and other cool instruments. It was great listening to them, but it felt so much better to be on stage with them playing the instruments! Yup that's right, I played along with the whole band. I could really feel the enthusiasm in every player! It may look easy but it is NOT easy at all, trust me! You have to use a lot of the upper body muscles! All in all, I can use one word to sum this part of the activity, and that is MAGNIFICENT!!! I told Lil that I would definitely want to join them if I enter into Ngee Ann. BUT...So many things to do yet so little time!

And I have to say that Ngee Ann is a super duper rich school!! They have the actual equipments which are used in companies based on what they specialise in. And they have prizes range from a 1G thumb drive to the latest Samsung hand phone given every single day of camp be it competitions or lucky draw! They even gave out tickets to see My Chemical Romance LIVE!!

After lunch, we went to the School of Business and everyone received free facial Nivea products(see...that is why I say Ngee Ann is rich) and made a 'ZO' card. We got to watch a performance put up by skaters. I was really impresses with one of the guy. He managed to jump over not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4 but 5 people and still not fall down the stairs which were only a few metres away from him. He gets my big round of applause.
Not forgetting ZOUK OUT at NP! DJ Andrew was great!! I danced till I could dance no more!! I was totally wiped out! Further more I have to help clean up church the next day and go for choir practise. I promise...I will not go out partying the day before church any more.
Most importantly....Spartans was great led by a great king(Timo) and a great queen(Cat)! All of us got to 'high'. We were totally enjoying and loving the camp. I even came close to losing my voice on the 1st day of camp! Sad it have to end so soon! Well every good and happy thing must always come to an end.
Luckily there might be a Red Camper gathering on the 15th of Dec but do you know who cannot go? ME!!! Can you believe it! The only chance of meeting them again and yet I'm missing it! Please change the date!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAMMY & NAT!

Ok, this is the updated one. Cool right!

I did a good deed today! I led a blind man cross the street today after coming back from the BBQ at Jac's place!*2 Thumbs up!*

It's quite scary to lead the man cause I don't really know what to do and I can't speak proper Chinese! I don't know what is the Chinese word for pillar! So with the minimum amount of Chinese in my brain that I have, I led him to Ah Soo Gardens! Amazing right!!

OH! And I just realised I didn't write any thing about my prom!

It is ok I guess, average, but I have to say that the girls were really pretty, some was really...revealing! The guys, some of them are handsome! Especially Samuel and Alan! You should have seen them getting out from the taxi! They looked like some movie star walking to the red carpet!! And you know what? They are from my class!!

The food was ok I guess. I think $70 was a little bit too expensive for the food they served. They even tried to put on a show! It was only some waiter dressed like a chef with a big belly dancing around the principals, teachers and student to some old song! And according to Sabrina Tan, the songs they used songs from the year 2000! Songs like 'Butterfly'! EUU!!!

The games was ok I guess. Stupid but ok. Lucky draw, table games, stage games, same old same old. The most hilarious is the 1st price winner! HAHAHA!! Inside joke!

Ms Kuck's brother was the MC and he was good, really good!! ( I need to learn from him)

Oh I have to tell you some thing funny. You know the prom king and queen thing, yeah. There were 3 nominee from my class. So the people from my table(which were all my classmates) voted for them. I collected the votes from everyone, went to the wash room and guess what, I forgot to hand in the votes!!

So when they announced the name Qiao Li was

THE BIG O IS FINALLY OVER!!!!!

I cannot believe it is over!!! It was 1 month ago when I was studying like a mad girl and just today, I went out with some of the batch people from church. We watched The Game Plan. Well, as usual, I left the house late, and I'm suppose to collect the tickets before they let it go. Luckily, I reached there in time, but a few problems evolved.

1) Wanted to buy 6 tickets instead 7 tickets but they said I can't and can only repay me by giving me a complimentary movie ticket which I can use within a month. The thing is, they forgotten that I booked the tickets through the phone and I'm allowed to receive a refund in monetary value.

So the manager came out.

This is only the start

2) When every thing was settled, and they have agreed to give me a refund. However, I almost didn't get the tickets. All the talking caused all the 7 tickets to be let loose and they have already sold the tickets. Luckily, they gave us new seats. Although not that nice but better then not watching.
Dru could not stand the service and said that she was angry of how they settled the matter. But what can they do!

All this 'adventure' is enough for one day. I can't wait for the SLEEPOVER!!! The high light of the year!!!

Hey everyone!!! Well it has been super long since I have post some thing. My blog is super dead!! Let me revive it a bit.

Finally the big O is over(sort of). There is one more paper happening tomorrow, but its MCQ, so yeah, I've already declared it over last Tuesday and went out with most of the other O levelers from church. We ate at Chomp Chomp and watched "Priceless" at Anna's house. Its quite a stupid French show to watch, but kind of funny too!

However, the high light of the week was the day out with 1/4 of the Sunday school class to Sentosa. We had so much fun! We played volleyball, Frisbee with the cutest little Caucasian girl called Isebella( not sure whether i spelt it correctly). Went to the Southest most point of Asiawith Cam. Oh and I did tanning too. Not that I'm not dark enough and I totally forgotten that my prom is this coming Thursday! So 'smart' of me. Luckily its only my face.

Tr Aileen was super funny can! She was like: "exercise is not in my vocabulary, I don't do sports". So no matter how hard we tried to persuade her, she just don't want to play with us! So for the whole day, she only read her newspaper and taking pictures and eat, a lot!!

Then yesterday, Rachel and I went to eat at Chomp Chomp. I know, again right!! But the food there is really nice!! I think we were crazy yesterday! We ate so much for dinner and still went to Ice 'cube' for dessert! I ate so much that I had stomach pain lah!! CRAZY!! But I have got to say that it was delicious!!!

Now I just can't wait for the batch outing tomorrow after the paper. Going to watch 'The Game Plan'! Finally!! You have no idea how much I have long to catch a movie!!
