I CAN'T BELIEVE I WENT TO STARBUCKS!!!

For someone who hates coffee to the world's core, starbucks is actually ok. Being a coffee shop, the coffee smell isn't that strong either. And not to mention the way the place was decorated. It feels as if I'm at home, chilling, enjoying the jazz soothing music, eating my strawberry strudel and doing my project for the past 3 hour. It reminds me of 'Central Perk' in friends. Just that we are missing the big comfortable sofa.

People ask me: Why are you at starbucks when you hate coffee so much?

So I tell them: the only reason I'm at starbucks because I'm using their electricity, free wireless connection and their space since it is empty any way.

Starbucks is actually not bad even though it is rather hot with exception of the occasional gush of wind. It's just Singapore! Singapore is too hot for me! I was telling Rach how much I wish to be at a really cool country right now!

I love Singapore! But I hate the whether and the education system!

Been tagged by Tammy for like a really long time ago but I was just plan lazy to do it. I hate this kind of stuff. Takes a long time to complete! But~ since I've got time right now, and I'm trying to push aside my assignment which is due tomorrow(I know it's bad har har har), what the heck, I'll do it. Since the exams fever is here once again, I'm motivated to read the book of Psalms everyday during my quiet time with the Lord and I will try to post my favourite verse(s) for that day and hope that it brings much encouragements to you too(: that is if you read it.

I love the clip about the cardboard testimony that was being played my Pastor Mitch during YPG yesterday and Tr. Chen Khee during Sunday School this morning. The 1st when it was being played, we focused on how people, how Christians shined for the Lord in their own way and to be THE light of the world. The 2nd time we focused on identifying with the people whom we will be/ are bearing witness to. Both have their important point of views and I wish to practice both perspectives. I will be searching for my cardboard testimony, I wonder what will yours say. Lets think about it shall we.

POLY EXPERIENCE!!! 10th & 11th July

My first ever duty as an ambassador. I've got to tell you, it was GREAT!! And everyone worked as one, both the senior and junior. I want to thank the seniors for guiding us whenever I feel lost or when I did something wrong or stupid. You guys have been a great help.

Totally can't wait for Red Camp and Open House! Since I went for both before entering Ngee Ann. I want to see all the details and how things are planned! I JUST CAN'T WAIT!!! *grin*

'My dearest pal for lyfe' left 1 hour ago and as you can guess, my 'tap' went loose the moment we walk towards the gate to take off and leave this small little red dot. I should be happy for her right? Any way she is coming back at the end of the year! Why cry? But I guess it is only when our friend is not there, will you truely appreciate the friendship that we'll have with each other.

I'll end this short entry with a poem she wrote which really touched my heart so I would like to share it with everyone and hope that it will touch your hearts too. It is entitled 'Always & Forever'. It's a little bit personal so no prob if you don't understand or any thing.

I really thank God for bringing me back to church if not all those wonderful memories I have with you and the other people from our batch would have never happened and our friendship would have never grown this much. There will be no doubt that I will miss you like crazy, but I'm still happy for you (: I hope that I can also get the chance to experience studying overseas.

Even if you are at Melbourne, I hope we will stay in contact and you will stay grounded and that our friendship will continue to be centered in Christ. May we continue to grow in our faith.
