IPPT drill

Every body working hard for it!! It was super hot!!!

Here's and update of my exciting and wonderful day yesterday. Went to school all sleepy and tired when the sound system said ' school, we are going to do the IPPT drill now, can all form teachers go back to their form class and can everybody turn off their class fan and air-con'

I thought it will be very boring and all!!! But it was actually fun and interesting!! The whole class was in it together!!! But it was HOT!!! It felt like i was in a sauna!!! Still is was fun!!

Later i had o rush down to Bugis to meet Yu Wen and Aunty Lai Heong for dinner before going for Joanne's Dance Concert. I was super late as usual!! So sorry!!! Any way Aunty Lai Heong brought us to this classy Japanese Restaurant at Intercontinental Hotel!! The food was really good and of course 'cha cheng cha cheng' We didn't manage to finish every thing. Firstly we were going to be late for the concert and secondly it was really a lot for 3 persons!!! Still i really appreciate it!! THANKS SO MUCH AUNTY LAI HEONG!!!

And of course the Dance Concert was GREAT!!! ACJC Dance is really great!! Joanne : ' Car Crash!!' joanne, you did really well good job!!!

And the Shrek ears!!! I got them from Mac but Yu Wen said that is was dump getting it!! But i love it a lot. Dru had one too!! Haha!! Funny right!!!

Tr Aileen's outing!!!

Had so much fun today with all the girls in my Sunday school class!!! Although not all went for the outing, but still, we had a lot of fun!!! Tr Aileen was super funny!!! With all her jokes and laughter!! She is a totally different person when you really get to know her. The crazy yet fun person!!! But when it comes to teaching us the important of the Lord's word, she will be serious and all which is a good thing!!! Love having Tr Aileen as my Sunday school teacher!! WOOOHOOOO!!!

After evening service today, Tr Aileen, Rach, Ana, Lai Ying and I hurried our way to flag for a cab so that we will not be late to meet the other girls. We kind of crossed the road dangerously just know. There was an on coming car when Tr Aileen just crossed the road so everyone just followed her. It was even funny crossing the road can you just imagine the whole night has a crazy group!! Then we had our dinner at SUSHI DON!!! It was a really good place to have dinner and fellowship!! I love that place a lot. I even like their sing board!! I sound nuts!! I took a picture of it!!! But the food there is really good!! I ate Unagi Don!! The Unagi was really good!!! I think our whole batch should go there some day!! Maybe after Pirates? And oh the napkin game was really cool!! We get to ask super funny questions during the first round, but the second round had a theme 'Our Heavenly Father' So it was a serious time to ask each other question. It really made me think a lot about our Heavenly Father. I got a question set by Lai ying and it reads : What is the purpose of chairing[ Lai ying asks really good questions!! (: ] And Tr Aileen told us that Chairing is a time where we talk about how the Lord is truly real in our live and how our main focus should be on the Lord and not ourselfs. So i hope that the chairing that the class is going to lead will be a meaningful one and of course going back to the theme that we are having.

WE ATE ICE CREAM FROM BEN AND JERRY'S JUST NOW!!! ICE CREAM!!!! I'm not suppose to eat!! AHHHHH!!!

In all, i really had a lot of fun with the girls!!!! Our class rocks!!!

Oh and cleaning was fun today. Everyone had a switch of duty for one. Ana and Al were doing Joanne's and my job, I was doing Matt's job, Nat , Mark and the cute little LUKE (: did Cam's job. No one did the lifts today as there were no cloths for them to use. It was fun!!!

After Chinese tuition today, i went to the vet with my father to see Fifi. She is really weak and tired. She is suffering in pain and it really hurts the whole family to see she suffer this way. Her kidney is the thing that is giving her all the problem and it is all because of a stupid toad that she bite on in the garden. Stupid toad!! Now she can't eat, she keeps vomiting and has a bad diarrhea.

Doctor : Fifi isn't doing well. her temperature is a bit lower than normal and her kidney is in a bad condition. There is still a lot of toxin in her body that is attacking to kidney.

Dad : How long do you think she can still hold on.

Doctor : Depending. Some of our kidney patient can last for a few months, some a few weeks and some only a few days. And to be honest with you, Fifi isn't doing too well and might pass on any time.

Sherlyn : Tears starts rolling down from her eyes.

Dad : I know it is hard to decide but if she has to be put to sleep, it's OK for me.

Well i think it is really better for Fifi to be put to sleep even though how much i hate it. At least she will not suffer ever again and go some place where she does not have to hurt again. But of course it would be better if she could recover and come home with us. I really miss her jumping around the house while barking with her high pitch bark. This is the second dog that has a kidney problem. Angel under went the same thing but only we sent her to the the vet to late. She passed on a few days later. I really hate to see Fifi go away like that. Why must it be now, when I'm preparing for my Chinese Os. Fifi is only 4 years old!!!

As usual, there was Chinese lessons today!! Received all my Chinese Results today. Some were good, some were OK and some were like crazy!!! The teacher who marked my letter writing gave me a super low mark of 8/20!!! Can you believe me!!! The teacher failed a lot of people in my class!! But there was one of my classmate who made a lot of mistakes yet he still passed!!! I made really little mistakes and she failed me!!! She gave me a stupid 2 marks for my content!!! A 2!!! I think she was really tired when she marked my paper!!! Now I've only got a C6!!! But even if she gave me a better marks, it will be increased to only a C5, so I think it's OK. But still a 2!!!Now I'm aiming for a B3. My tuition teacher said that she will give me a treat if i get a B3 for my Os!!! Looking forward for that treat!!! Now I've got to work hard for it!!

Came home from tuition today and my dad showed me a box of bird nest that he bought for me this afternoon. It cost him a bomb!! Thanks Daddy!!! My dad loves me lots!! Then while watching television, he came out with not 1 but 2 tins full of bird nest!!! He told me that they were hand picked by my Grandpa and himself when dad was young!! They literally went to the cave to find for these bird nest!!! Now I've got lots of bird nest to eat! WOOOHOOO!!!

I can't go to church tomorrow for pastor Mitch's bible study!!! CHINESE TUITION!!! YEAH....NOT!!! *Sob Sob* Someone please tell me what you guys are going to learn the next day OK!!!

Got to sleep now or i will be late for school once again!!! Hate it!!! Nights everyone!!!

CHINESE 'O' LEVEL!!! 28 MAY 2007

Had been having Chinese lessons from morning till afternoon this past two days and also had Chinese tuition intensive straight after Chinese lesson today. I didn't have have so many Chinese lessons at one go before!! And it is really tiring!! 2 more weeks Sherlyn!! GO ALL THE WAY!! Aim for higher grades!! You know you can!!!

Mrs Fong returned us our Chinese Paper 1 Compo today. I've got 30/50. A B4 only!!! I should have gotten 34 (B3) if i didn't use the wrong Chinese characters!! There goes one grade because of 4 marks!!! JIA You SHERLYN!!! DON'T LET ANY THING MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR CONCENTRATION!!!! 2 MORE WEEKS!!!

OMG!!! I have not blog for the past few days and there is a lot for me to say!!! I don't know where to start!

I spent lots of time with Ana last week and love every single time we were out. The day after we went to Bugis i met up with her in PS to have lunch and window shop here and there before going to church to study. We ended up buying the 3 for $5 earrings again!!! I just love that shop! The earrings are really pretty!! Don't mind going there for more!! Here are some of the pictures that we took that day. Oh, we also went to an Art and Craft shop to look around for Ana's Mothers' Day present. The things there are really nice, but they can burn a big hole in your pocket!!

Went back to church later that night to teach my brother math. She helped me in my social studies and even agreed on doing notes for me. Who has such great friends like this!!!

Then on Sunday, Nat, Rach and I went to Vivo to watch Spider Man 3. We borrowed Tr Chen Kee's credit card to book tickets for the show, but when we were there, the counter lady said the we must show her the credit card itself. We almost didn't watch the show even if we paid for it. We didn't know what to do. She said that we cannot just give her the number!!! And the show was about to start!! All three of us were trying to be logical with her but i think she just does not have any. In the end, the manager saved our day!!! She told us to Que again and when it is our turn, we can just give the credit card number to her. Why didn't they do that the previous time!!! luckily the show have not started when we reached to cinema. Nat was very worried that we will not make it in time. When he saw the advertisement, he let out a great relief!! The show was OK i think. Love parts of it. Thank Rach!! haha!!!

Oh and we ate at Super Dogs. I ate chili dogs!! Finally!! I always see it on TV but have not eaten it. It was nice i have to say. Don't mind going there again.

On the way home, Nat has to do some thing from his so call 'Check list'!! And that was to take picture with the Heroes actor shown in the wall of the MRT!! Very dumb right!!

Yup, i think i will stop her now. My eyes are closing!!! Nights every body!!!

YEAH EVERYBODY!!!! MID YEARS IS OVER!!!! I'm kind of a free bird now until tomorrow afternoon when i hit back to my books. Studying is a never ending thing especially this year!! 'O' LEVEL CHINESE!!!! I'm just happy that i got to go out with Ana today to get my bag. We talked a lot in the MRT today!!! And.....I can finally shop, but what is the use of shopping when you do not have much money with you!! Dane it!!!

Went to Bugis street today to look for my bag. The place has shops with either no bag or a whole shop full of bags. But all the bags aren't the one that I'm looking for. I wanted to get a crumpler but it is too expensive!! So i ended up buying the bag that Al uses only that i think mine is the fake version of it. It does not really matters to me, as long as i can use it, every thing is fine. Oh and i bought three pairs if earrings today for just 5 bucks!!! How cool is that!!!

Then i was scolded by my mum for taking a long time to reach to koven. I accidentally didn't hear my phone so i didn't reply her message. When i was about to reply her, she gave me a call and she just started scolding me for taking my own sweet time talking to Ana!!! Some times i don't really understand her!! WHO WOULD except God!!!

Lovely Bear's leg got injured again!! She always get injured, and it will always be on her left hind legs!! So clumsy!!

Meeting Ana tomorrow for lunch at PS. Spent a lot if time with her this week and I'm just glade that some one is there for me always!! LOVE YOU SO MUCH ANA!!! Just so sad that she is leaving us soon!!*sob sob*

Now my dad is playing with bear making some funny noises!!! So funny!!!

TWO MORE PAPERS TO GO!!! YEAH!! But there is still Chinese 'O' Level Paper on the 28th May!! Not fun at all.

I really hate this blog now!!! What are the blog people doing!! They were suppose to upgrade the thing and on degrading it!!! i can't even see the photos that i uploaded until i post it!! Every thing just doesn't seem to go right today!!!

The first one is the blogger as you can see it really sicks now!! ( Well not really haha! I found out that i didn't go back to the compose mode that is why!!!)

Next is the horrible Math Paper!! IT IS SUPER TRICKY!!! Didn't has time to finish all the questions!! I left about 2 WHOLE questions out!! Can you believe it!!! I too didn't had the time to finish every thing. Only if the paper was three hours long!! I will get more time to do!! Why must the teacher set such a difficult paper!! And it has to be upon 100 marks

Then there is the POA paper. It is so much better them the Math paper but still there are things that i don't know how to do.

Went to church to study. I intended to study but is was so hot that i didn't felt like studying, further more i just borrowed a book to read and it is a really nice book that i can relate to!! Got too engross in it, Nat even asked me to stop reading and start doing my work. I only started my revision at 4 plus when i came at 2 plus!! Haha!!!

Now i really got to sleep!! MID YEAR IS ENDING!!! NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY!!! Sad that i have to go to school tomorrow morning though there is no paper in the morning!! So dreadful!!! HAIYA!!!

Blogger is going crazy!!! Now I can't even choose the font that i want and the colour that i want!! Any way,the last week have been hectic for me. Many exams going on, which means more studying!! I practically studied everyday with very minimum break!! I can't even watch my Phantom of the Opera.Only had a chance to watch it today after my math paper (math paper was crazy!! Many careless mistakes as always!!!) Phantom of the opera on the disc was OK but there were some parts that i have to say the play was much much better!! Specially Masquerade part!!! The music and singing was so much better!! Still the show is the best!!!

Any ways this week is more church and books for me everyday. Half way studying, we started talking and even taking pictures. At least there is a breather some where!!

And of cause SHOPPING!!! Went to vivo city yesterday to spend my 20% of discount coupon. Went to topshop and got a white blouse and i also went to Forever 21 to try some things. I ended up buying some thing again!! I kept trying clothes after clothes!!! Ana was so into fining clothes for me to wear. Never tired so many things in my life. At the some time, i went around with Ana to get some thing for my mum for Mother's Day. I either can't find any thing or the things there is really expensive!!! So i ended up buying a card for her instead and decided that we should sing her a song on the special day.

Few more papers left then its 'O' Level Chinese!! Very nervous!!! I really don;t like that subject!! I wouldn't understand what the passage is talking about. All the best i guess!!!

Really sleepy now everybody!! Math paper tomorrow!! Sleep early everybody!!!

My lovely Bear injured her leg while trying to get down from my parent's bed. She was too small to climb down, so she felled down on one of her hind leg and it now injured. She look really pitiful!!! Only walking with three legs!!

Hope someone brings her to the vet soon!!!

The Mid Year is almost half way there!!! HOW TIME FLIES!!! And soon it will be my 'O' Level Chinese paper!! That reminds me that i can't go for the games day on the 26th which is like 2 days before the actual paper!! I HATE IT knowing that i am going to have a long Chinese tuition on that day!!! I WANT TO GO!!! What can i do!! 'O' Levels this year and i do not have much time left!! Mark, Nat and Lai Ying was testing me physics for the paper that I'm having tomorrow, then i realized that i don't know a million things!! Especially the definitions of all the topics!!! I'm just going into that exam hall and give in all I've got!! I MUST PRAY TO GOD MORE OFTEN!! Hope he will see me through the remaining papers!!!

Chin Ying was smsing me today about the MATH PROBLEM( FOR THOSE THAT REALLY KNOW)!! She said that there are more trees ahead and i shouldn't just stay at this particular one. But what can i do, it's hard for me now and i still have to concentrate on my studying!!! Jia You SHERLYN!!!!
