I know this blog may seem too late, but I definitely have to write something about it. So sorry of this entry may sound very lengthy and essay-y. I really want to write down what is close to me heart.

RED Camp5 ended about 2 days now and I'm still having a 'hangover' from it. I just can't seem to get enough of RED Camp even though it may have been tiring. I have to make a post on it because I'm just happy the way every thing turned out and how all the campers whom I am closer to loved the camp so much. I never knew that conducting a big camp like RC5 could allow me to bond with campers at a higher level. So I'm glad that I managed to do so with the campers (like my St. Gab 'sons', Brandon, Danial, etc), some of the SLs in Ninja(namely, Pris my lovely room mate, Rasmus, Rastus, Kenny, Kim, Kai Jun, CC, and the list goes on) and also some from the other tribes(Matthew, Sarah Nat, Jasmine, Shaun, Fedora, Amar, Brandon, Shakylla, and the list just goes on and on). Being the tribe emcee for Ninja this year was really my joy and honour as it is my first time doing something close to an actual emcee. I treasure all the moments when I'm holding that mic and standing in front of the thousands of people who came to experience and discover Ngee Ann. I'm extremely thankful as the Lord had granted me with His provision of strength and courage to face my fears while standing on stage for all three days. Assuredly, I've gained so much experience from this camp and I'm hungry for more. Further more, after hearing all the positive compliments received from both the SLs and campers especially, I'm even more thankful and happy to be part of this year's RED Camp. After this camp, I felt like a star, a celebrity to be honest(HAHHAHAHAA), because on the last day of camp, people will go around asking to take picture with me and even ask me for my MSN to be written on their book(you will know exactly how I feel if you can picture it). And ever since RC, I get friends request on Facebook every half an hour. However I know that all these were possible only because of the Lord's guidance in every step I took. I had learnt how to humble myself even though I am in a position where it is so easy to show off. And also, I've had definitely learnt so much more about His provision to me and as a response to all that was learnt, I glorify Him in the way I should.

With memorise of me being a camper and facilitator, I'm already looking forward to next year's RED Camp; RED Camp6!

RED CAMP 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Kim,

even though you may think that you have not done a lot during this RC5, I can tell you that you have done so much(: from all the plannings with Nikk before camp, to holding meetings for us so that all the Ninja SLs would be familiar with our appointed job even though there will always be that few people who just refuse to attend those meetings. You have done a great job, just that all your hard work may have been done backstage where not many can see. You definitely did your part in leading Ninja throughout the camp, running around like a mad woman just so that everything can run smoothly and I can say that there is no better Leader for Ninja, for group 2 than you. As a friend, you have done an even greater job by making sure that everybody is fine(perfect example is when Janani was not feeling well even though she kept saying "I'm fine, It's ok" )and also without fail, you have definitely brought joy and laughter at my most tiring moments during camp, and for that I thank you(: This may be your last RED Camp as a facilitator, but I'm sure you will come back for more in the near future.

HEY ALL!!! I know it has been a REALLY long time since I last blog haha. I can garentee you that my blog is officially the most boring blog one can ever have. Any way, updates.

School had started for 5 weeks now and many things have been happening during these rather quick 5 weeks. Number 1, had YLA4 on the first weekend of this new term. If I'm not wrong, that was my first ever school camp when I'm not the camper but the 'helper' of a camp. In this camp, it was my first time actually acting in front of a live crowd. I messed up abit but all is well if I were to compare it with the different rehearsal. I think I'm just not cut out for acting. Had a great time bonding with everyone and I must say that I've gotten to know so much more about the members of Group 2 and also some other people who went for the camp.

After all the drama mama camps, it was back to serious matters; school, assignment, quiz, etc. Honestly, I don't exactly feel like a poly student yet even though I may be in one for close to a year now. Besides the fact that I'm really left alone to mind my own business and that there are no more form teachers and common test every half semester. I feel that I'm enjoying the non-acedamic side of school more (Ambassador-Ambs) rather then what I should actually be concentrating on. But, but, but, I'm getting the hang of it slowly, thank God for that. There will be lots of assignments and projects waiting for me, so I've got to 'suck thumb'(according to Will) and just do it. Definitely spititual strength will be needed to pull through all things. Speaking about 'strength', I can't wait for this year's Youth Conference which has the theme of 'Be Strong'. It's will be differernt because during YC, it will be the last week of school before BINTAN. That means I've got to travel back and forth from and to school most days. This definitely requires a lot of strength, so the theme came in just in time(: Thought if asking some friends to go, hope they will be able to.

RED Camp is reaching really soon, like in 8 days time to be exact and lots of preperation (like completing the banner, getting the camp T-shirt and finalizing everything which needs to be finalized)is going on now so as to make the event the memoriable one for both the campers and the Student Leader(SLs)! Everything is just happening so quickly! One year ago I was part of RED Camp 4 as a camper and suddenly I'm one of the SLs facilitating this camp. I'm feeling excited yet nervous at the same time because in this camp, it will be my emcee debute and I want to make it a hit even though my role may just only be a tribe emcee.

'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me'
-Philippians 4:13
However, this verse never fails to remind me that with the Lord's guiding hand, I will be able to face all my fears which I may face and even excel in it during the three days of camp. I hope that all things done during camp will bring glory to God and no one else.
RED CAMP 5 HERE I COME!!!
