Day 1

Sent my family off this morning and every thing was going fine until they stepped into the taxi to make their way to the airport to catch the plain. I couldn't control myself, but there is nothing that I can do to stop them from going.

So I went back to the house to get myself ready for school. Tired as usual but this time, there were more things occupying my brain's capacity. Glad that every thing in school went well. I actually had a fun time in school with my course mates, taking pictures and singing and telling jokes and all sorts of nonsense. This is why I really thank God for the friends He had provided me with.

But the challenge for today wasn't about me trying to cope with normal daily life while being so preoccupied with something else. There wasn't much food left at home, so the challenge was for me to somehow find my way to a NTUC to get some groceries. I didn't what was cheap and what wasn't, or how to pick the right vegetables, or whether it is a need or a want, etc. BUT I've got to say that shopping for groceries is actually quite fun when my mom is not here with me because I get to choose what I want to eat. But the ultimate challenge I've got to say is actually going home from NTUC. I have to balance my notebook, Korean textbook and 4 plastic bags while depositing a cheque and taking a cab home. I thought of just taking a bus home in order to save some money but it is impossible! Being the ever so clumsy me, the eggs that I bought will sure to break, so I had no choice.

Now that I'm home and have taken my lunch and all, I feel that there is a large amount of burden being taken away from my shoulder. I can finally relax for a while before making my way back to school for Korean class.

I kind of figured out that I wouldn't have a life this 3 weeks because I'm expected to be home everyday straight at school. As I want to practise the lesson on being a good conduct, I plan to listen to my parents and come home straight away after school. So do not ask me to go out! I've got a 3 storey house to look after.

'Thank you God for your guidance for the day.'
